Data sources

Sakay's route data is assembled weekly from public sources:

• OpenStreetMap via the Overpass API — the spatial backbone (route geometries, stop coordinates). Licensed under ODbL. © OpenStreetMap contributors.
• ph.commutetour.com — narrative route descriptions for enrichment.
• sugbo.ph — Cebu commute guides for cross-validation.
• cebujeepneys.weebly.com — community-maintained route list.
• LTFRB Region VII LPTRP (planned) — authoritative baseline once the Sept 2025 Board Resolution PDF is ingested.

Routes flagged unverified appear in OSM but haven't been cross-checked against the LTFRB baseline yet.
