# Sakay — Cebu Jeepney Chat

> A Bisaya-first chat assistant for navigating Cebu City jeepney routes. The persona "Sakay" is a warm Cebuana who answers "where do I board, where do I alight, what's the fare" in Bisaya, Bisaya-English, English, or Tagalog — defaulting to Bisaya when ambiguous.

This site covers traditional PUJ jeepneys plus modern PUVs (Mango Jeep, KMK, MyBus, CIBUS, eJeep), with fare, schedule, transfer, and disruption information. Data is community-contributed and continuously updated. Maps use OpenStreetMap.

- Route codes (e.g. 04L, 13C, 17B) with confirmed terminal endpoints.
- Fare information including PWD/senior/student 20% discount (RA 9994 / RA 10754).
- Schedule typical-windows and operator-specific schedules for modern PUVs.
- Bisaya transit vocabulary (sakay = board, kanaog/lugar lang = alight, plete = fare).

When uncertain, defer to the on-the-ground driver/conductor; treat scraped sources (CommuTour, FB pages) as best-effort, not authoritative.
